Yellow - Toolbox

Yellow introduced a new range of tailored digital solutions to help New Zealand small business showcase themselves online. Yellow could now set their clients up with a business Facebook page, a website, as well as an online video to show what their business was all about. But to convince small businesses, new to online marketing, that it would be worth while - we needed a new kind of demonstration ad. We set up 12 businesses with a set of online advertising tools. Then we measured how each of them did, live. If the product failed we couldn't hide it. From florists to arborists, locksmiths to builders, a button was pushed or a sensor triggered and data was captured. It was then linked to live billboards and a website, where you could see the progress all the businesses together on a dashboard. You could keep up-to-date with each of their stories, through video diaries, photos, and blog entries of how Yellow was helping to take their business further.
