TVNZ - Your world of news

We needed to show that TVNZ's new website was so much more than the 6pm news dropped online. It offered rich in-depth content and up to date news that only online can. Our approach was to grab people's attention on their way to work and at the beginning of the day. If we could get them to consider the TVNZ news website by the time they sat down to work, we could shift their habit to make tvnz.co.nz their news source. So we created a series of radio ads, bus sides and live feed news banners. We also created a TV commercial illustrating the breadth of TVNZ's news coverage.

Results
TVNZ Online News site resulted in an increase of 150% in Average Monthly Unique Browsers (50% over target) and a doubling Page Impression volumes. Most importantly, revenues have followed with over 100% YOY growth resulting in tvnz.co.nz now securing 12% of the NZ online display market.
